  5. Version 1.1.1 of Battle Chess Enhanced CD-ROM fixes a bug that caused errors while playing the game on computers that use certain brands of CD-ROM driver software that were not written by Apple.  Specifically, previous versions of Battle Chess would display error dialogs or play the entirely wrong sound when running on Power Computing machines that use FWB's CD-ROM Toolkit software.  The bug may also have caused problems with various other vendors' CD-ROM driver software.

  7. Please note that you do not need to upgrade to version 1.1.1 if the game currently plays OK on your Macintosh!  This version 1.1.1 does not include any enhancements compared to version 1.1, other than the bug fix described above.

  11. Just copy the Battle Chess 1.1.1 application to your hard disk.  To play the game, make sure the Battle Chess CD-ROM is inserted in your CD-ROM drive and visible on your desktop, and then double-click the Battle Chess 1.1.1 application.
